ATS (Applicant Tracking System) scans resumes before a human sees them. ATS-friendly tips: Use standard section headings, avoid tables/graphics in the main content, use keywords from the job description, stick to standard fonts (Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman), use .docx or .pdf format.

Resume objective formula: "Seeking a [position] at [company type] to leverage my [key skills] and contribute to [benefit]. Committed to [quality/growth/innovation]." Example: "Seeking a software engineer role at a product company to leverage my Python and ML skills and build scalable solutions."

Include academic scores if they are above 70% or 7.0 CGPA — it works in your favor. Below 70%, you can omit it (it's not mandatory). Always mention the latest qualification score. For experienced professionals (3+ years), education section moves to the bottom and scores become optional.

Technical skills: programming languages, tools, frameworks relevant to the job. Soft skills: communication, problem-solving, teamwork, leadership. Avoid generic phrases like "hard worker" or "fast learner" — instead show them through achievements. Match skills to the job description.
